How to get to the marietas islands The Marietas Islands are located in Nayarit off the coast of Punta Mita. However there are different ways to get Marieta islands from different parts such as Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta where hundreds of national tourists arrive everyday and from where many of them start their journey to the islands.
It is noteworthy that no one is allowed to stay in the islands, after getting there, the tours have to come back. There are no campgrounds and hotels, and no stores in the islands.
